Demon temple

Demon temple walkthrough

Finally level 65 after levelling your holy seal for so long! And with this level you also get a new multiplayer dungeon...a hard one...harder than moonevil and even more brutal than Claristun!! (can you believe it!?) Demon temple is a nice new dungeon with new mobs and for 2/3 new bosses! But let's not rush this and go over this. The best setup for this dungeon is a good tank, a good mage and two good archers with full scatter and freeze. Some read the walkthroughs where 2 mages are needed but from personal experience the setup with 2 archers work better.

You start in a cave on the left side. Just a little bit to your right you get your first mob, some kind of flying creatures. They shouldn't pose much of a problem. After the mob you can get up or down on the map. Go down and get the mystery box if you want. On the right side you also see a VIP chest. A little bit up you see your second mob. Then you get another split. Take the left one and click on the demon den. Build rage during the demon den. After the demon den, backtrack a little and go north to face your first boss:

Nemruth

Nemruth, the firelord. You faced this monster in campaign mode but trust me...this one is harder. Even though the boss might be a bit new, the tactic to beat him you are familiar with. To beat this boss you use the same tactic as the second boss of Moonevil den. Freeze and nuke his ass. I might add that a good tank is required because his single attack can be brutal, especially after a buff. Also, the enrage buff that he does IS removable with scatter but he quickly casts it again. It might give the healer the time he needs to heal the tank if needed. Just follow the 'freeze-nuke' tactic and you will win for sure. After Nemruth is beaten, take the chest and go to the transport point.

The next part isn't very big but might be interesting. Go to the south of the map to fight a mob. A room is in the same direction with a roaming summoner inside. It might be interesting for the people who want to give nightmare mode a shot for lvl 60 legendary stones. Backtrack a little and go north this time to fight your second mob who is standing near Pandora's box. Beat the mob, take the pandora's box and go to you next boss...a familiar one namely:

Yaros

The boss we all know...and don't fear. Yaros, the lord of destruction. New dungeon, new settings but the same old boss. By now you know how Yaros fights. Most of the fight is easy but only at the last bar it gets extremely tough. His power increases A LOT! But with a good tactic it isn't as tough as it should be. The knight can cast Apollo's shield to reduce the damage he does, one archer can freeze his ass and the other can use armor pierce to reduce his heightened defenses. The mage just heals, after two turns of Yaros preferrably with blessed light. The rest is as easy as pie by now. Take the chest and again take the transport point.

You now come to a simple part. There is only 1 way to go. Follow the path and beat the mob who gets in your way. At the end there is a traveler's coin purse. Now follow the path to the north and yet again a mob crosses your path. At the end of the path go left and click on the tomb. Build rage!! That is extremely important for the mage and archers for the endboss who is brutal! After the tomb, go to the opposite direction and meet the endboss:

Azakar, king of curses

This boss is the hardest you have ever seen! His physical and magic attack increases with every attack, his attacks cause a debuff on you so your damage drops like hell. He knows 3 attacks. The first one is a relentless magic attack on a single target on the front row, the tank. The second one is a magic attack that hits all players. The third attack only happens when he reaches the last bar: he stuns everyone. If your tank has low hp, you won't make it. If on of your archers doesn't have at least level 2 freeze, you won't make it. If your mage can't heal properly, you won't make it. Every class has a different role to fullfill so I will explain per class what they should do to get through this horrible monster:

Knight: This class has it the easiest in this fight. Start with full rage. Cast Apollo's shield, then cast Agoran shield, build rage and start the same procedure again. This is the sequence I use: Apollo's shield - Agoran shield - Free attack + Slasher - Holy seal - Sylph - Wind's grace - Apocalyptic Hurricane (push on return while casting hurricane) - Slasher - repeat sequence

Mage: This class has it very hard because the mage has to take care for everyone. First start with 100 rage! This is the sequence that Jessiejen uses: Start with Sunturia - Build rage again to 100 - Purification - Build rage to 100 - Sunturia - Build rage to 100 - puri - Blessed light - then build rage until you can do restoration and keep this up until the boss is dead.

Goth's sequence: sunturia - 2 or 3 lightning bolt - puri - 2 or 3 lightning bolt - sunturia - lightning bolt again for rage - purification when ready - restoration if it is needed - blessed light after stun - lightning bolt before and after stun and sunturia after blessed if you can. For the rest build rage and heal if needed.

Archer: This class is very essential because if the archers don't do their job, the rest will die. One archer starts with deep freeze and the other starts with scatter. The one who started with deep freeze we call Archer 1, the other Archer 2. The goal for the 2 archers is to keep the boss under full freeze while casting scatter in between

Archer 1 sequence: Deep freeze - Arrow strike - Scatter - build rage with arrow strike - do deep freeze after 4 attacks from azakar and repeat the sequence from scatter.

Archer 2 sequence: Scatter - arrow strike for 3 attacks from Azakar to build rage - deep freeze - Scatter - build rage for 4 attack from azakar and repeat from deep freeze.

Hold on to this tactic and you will be victorious. For any questions or suggestions, please contact Eisidor, Themis or SnipR. Also watch the video of one of my runs by clicking on the following link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuGv3d9GkJM
